Playing 90 Ball Bingo Patterns

Famous in the UK and Australia, this bingo game is played with 90 balls or chips as against the American 75. The winning bingo patterns here only slightly differ.

Most online bingo games started out with 90-ball bingo. There are not much difference between this and the popular 75-ball bingo, except that the patterns in 90 are simpler though not necessarily easier. Winning odds? Both 75 and 90 offer somewhat the same odds—it really depends on having the cards at the right time in the right session with the right pattern.

There are 3 ways to win in 90 by winning its 3 patterns. Each pattern has a jackpot connected to it. Be the first to complete a horizontal line all the way from one side of the card to the other, win the "Line Pattern" jackpot. The same goes if we're the first to complete two horizontal lines. Then, if we're the first to complete all three horizontal lines we win the main jackpot called the "Full House Pattern."

The 90-ball bingo patterns allows more winning chances for participants at the same time that it allows heftier jackpots for a single winner. Winners can either win the Line or win everything. After the Line pattern is won (the winner gets the prize pronto) the game continues. When the Full House pattern is won, the session ends and a fresh one is started.

The game starts with participants buying tickets instead of cards. The tickets are printed with nine columns by three rows, with only 5 squares with numbers in each row. So we have a horizontal and rectangular set of squares, some of which are blanks and some with numbers (15 in all) to mark off. A player should get 6 tickets—so that's 15 numbers in a ticket times 6 tickets, giving us a total of 90 numbers for 6 tickets. Every number will be called at random and the first card to complete the line patterns wins.

The game takes a while longer than its 75-ball counterpart. A total of 15 spaces horizontally make up a Line pattern. Then two sets more of 15 squares make up for the other two lines—simpler but longer. The American game takes at most 25 squares to win the hardest pattern while the 90-ball bingo takes 45.

The 90-ball bingo patterns may look simple enough to do but they take a longer time to win.
